Harold Marefatpour PT, MScPT, Cert. MDT
Physiotherapist
Harold Marefatpour is a Registered Physiotherapist licensed to practice in the province of Ontario. He completed a Masters of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Tehran. Since graduating, Harold has practiced in hospital, community, private, and long-term care settings for over 23 years and has a passion for treating orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders. He is trained in the McKenzie Method® and is certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy®. Harold has additional training in manual therapy (through the Canadian Physiotherapy Association Manual Therapy Program), exercise prescription, acupuncture, taping, and Mulligan techniques. Harold’s goal is to provide the best possible treatment approach for patients using his knowledge and experience to promote long-term wellness, improve mobility and prevent injuries
Joanna Lau PT, BSc, Cert. MDT
Physiotherapist
Joanna is a Registered Physiotherapist licensed to practice in Ontario. She has over 15 years of experience working in a variety of settings including hospitals, long-term care, Ministry funded OHIP clinics, private practice, and in the community. Joanna graduated from the University of Toronto and is Certified in Acupuncture and in the McKenzie Method® of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy® (MDT). She enjoys treating clients with musculoskeletal and pain-associated ailments to help them regain their physical function. She believes successful and effective treatment is built upon a trusting relationship between the therapist and the client and uses a combination of electro modalities, manual therapy, education, and exercise prescription when caring for her clients.
Adam Saporta PT, MScPT, PTS
Physiotherapist
Adam Saporta is a Registered Physiotherapist and a Personal Training Specialist licensed to practice in the province of Ontario. He completed a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto and received an Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology and Biology at York University. Adam has practiced in hospital, community, and private settings for over 15 years and has a passion for treating orthopedic conditions/syndromes and sports injuries. He was on the Executive Committee for the Orthopedic Division of the Ontario Chapter of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, is a member of CanFitPro and is passionate about providing exceptional care for those with orthopedic conditions. Using a myriad of treatment approaches including manual therapy, acupuncture, and exercise prescription, Adam’s goal is to promote long-term wellness and prevent injury for his patients and relishes the opportunity to provide his knowledge and expertise with you.
Negar Nayeri PT, BSc
Physiotherapist
Negar Nayeri Nia is a Registered Physiotherapist licensed to practice in the province of Ontario. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Tehran. Negar has practiced in hospital, community, and private settings for over 20 years treating orthopedic and sports injuries, cardiovascular conditions, and pelvic health. She has additional training in manual therapy, acupuncture, therapeutic taping, and pelvic health physiotherapy and extremely passionate about her work. Negar’s goal is to provide optimal treatment programs using her expertise and knowledge to improve the overall health and well-being of her patients.
Golrokh Nazmi RMT
Massage Therapist
Golrokh is a Registered Massage Therapist licensed to practice in Ontario. She graduated from the Canadian College of Bayview Massage therapy and Hydrotherapy and is a member in good standing with the Registered Massage Therapy Association of Ontario. She is a well-rounded health care professional, with a background in occupational therapy and has exceptional knowledge of human anatomy and pathology. Golrokh is versed in a variety of massage therapy techniques include deep tissue, relaxation, and postpartum and has a strong interest in soft tissue and sports injuries. She is also a Certified Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy Assistant and has practiced in this capacity. She is passionate about her work and enjoys helping individuals recovery from muscle pain and discomfort.
Kelsey (Ming) Ren RMT, TCM
Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner, Registered Acupuncturist and Registered Massage Therapist.
Kelsey began her 5 year undergraduate program of Acupuncture and Moxibustion in 1987. She graduated from Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine with a Bachelor’s Degree of Medicine in 1992.
As a Doctor of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) , she worked in Wuxi Hospital of TCM in Jiangsu, China. Kelsey is a member in good standing with The College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario, and is a member in good standing with The Canadian Society of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. Kelsey is also been a Registered Massage Therapist and is in good standing with The College of Massage Therapist of Ontario and with the Registered Massage Therapist’s Association of Ontario since 2012. She has more than 30 years of experience in providing acupuncture and Chinese Medicine and has always had a very good relationship with her team members and clients. She looks forward to caring for her clients at Bayview Rehabilitation!
Petru Ursulescu RMT
Massage Therapist
Petru Ursulescu is a Registered Massage Therapist licensed to practice in Ontario. With over 15 years of experience in the healthcare field, he has practiced in a myriad of setting including inter-professional rehabilitation centers, spas, and hotels. His techniques focus on decreasing pain and promoting recovery. Petru is detail-oriented and client-centered and works collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure they reach their goals and optimize their function. He is a graduate of the Royal Canadian College of Bayview Massage Therapy and has additional training in human kinetics, biomechanics, and remedial exercise to improve recovery, healing, and self-confidence.
Anahid Khoubani PTA
Physiotherapist Assistant
Anahid Khoubani is a Physiotherapist Assistant licensed to practice under the supervision of a Registered Physiotherapist. She is a graduate of the Physiotherapy Assistant program from Trios College and recently completed a Diploma in Osteopathy. With over 5 years of experience, Anahid was worked in a variety of private practice settings. Her knowledge of treatment modalities and exercise prescriptions allows her to provide a client-centered approach when working with her patients. She is passionate about wellness and enjoys seeing individuals through their recovery.
